Topic: Story / Story Changes...

I figure everyone has/have looked at the Storyboard – These are additional scenes // Changes.

- We won’t follow the woman in the beginning. Instead we are going to have really nice establishing shots intercut with the girl having a monolog. We will follow the car – but will opt for not knowing the driver to give it a bit more mystic to it.

We have the establishing shots. We have the girl and we have a mysterious car. This will go on until the music montage starts. There we will establish the woman for the first time.

[Bracketed shots are shots we are going to buy]

Shotlist

Topic: Production / Part II - 2DO

This is where we are at:

Part 1:
Ystad is over. We got the shots but I would like some additional shots – establishing the acrobats in their environment. Mattias are still a bit tangled up with details regarding payments and other producer specific details.

Part 2:
Moving into part II which is also known as the “Drama” part will feature a new DP. Erik Andersson from Göteborg. Erik will try to get two of his buddies as assistants. Martin/Johannes will work the grip part. We need a couple of runners. Even if we have to pay for them. We need to break every 3 hours preferably for eating/drinking. Better planning/execution will keep us on top of that. But Eriks friends will have to work fast.

Everyone needs to be updated. I will take this responsibility. We should try to get at least ONE but even better if we could get two production meetings before we shoot. The first one could consist of what went wrong the first time – improving upon what we did good, doing even better this time.

Mattias/Andreas have reworked some of the drama parts to better fit with the overall feeling. I have some additional shots I would like to put in and take a lot of complicated shots out. This will hopefully give us some extra time.

The general time schedule looks like: Pick up gear early June 26. Head down to HBG – Shoot Green screen stuff. Short break – Start rigging dusk/night scenes. Shoot through the night. Try to wrap at 04.00. Sleep until 12.00 June 27. Eat breakfast, rigg/shoot hospital scenes – start to rig for dusk/night shots – shoot until 04.00 and sleep until 12.00 June 28. If needed – get some additional shots. Wrap.

Post:
Jörgen is our man when it comes to post. He will edit and perhaps do a little compositing if needed. When we have a rough cut we will hand it over to Freddie/Emil who will write a underscore/score for the pilot. As they work on that the VFX shots are compiled and any audio elements are being produced hopefully by ljudligan in Göteborg.

  • Dates
AF: I Feel 26-28 is a bit late. But it seems to be the best date we can manage at this time.
    • We have discussed 26-27-28 – June
    • AF – Makes a prel time schedule
    • AF – Makes Callsheet
  • Equipment
AF: Erik is responsible for the equipment, He sends a list to MK/AF for double check. AF looks in to what foggers/Hazers is around. AF also checks solutions and need for wet streets.
    • EA – Makes a equipment list.
    • AF – Check the need of additional foggers.
    • AF – Checks need/possibility for wet streets.
  • VFX/Post/EST
AF: We need a meeting with one or more VFX companies. Mattias is looking into if we can buy establishing shots from Getty Images. Erik let’s us know if he have a proffered colorist or if we need to find someone else.
    • MK – Book a meeting with Filmgate.
    • MK – Discuss EST material with Getty-Images.
    • MK – Writes the Monolog for the girl in the beginning.
    • AF – Books a studio to record the girls monolog.
    • PO – Checks possibility to shoot at Animeros green-screen studio.
    • EA – Colorist?
  • Coordination
AF: We need to keep people more updated. AF takes this on his shoulders.
    • AF – Let’s cast/acrobats know what’s up.
    • AF – Send out an E-mail to cast/crew. Letting people know what’s up.
    • MK – Let’s AF know what crew he would like back on Part II.
  • Locations
AF: I’m pleased with the locations in Helsingborg and don’t really see the need for a location scout. The best he could come up with would be in lund/malmö making the logistics harder. I feel confident about what Helsingborg has to offer.
    • AF – Checks if Maria park or Dunkers could host our needs for interior Hospital.
    • AF – Calls Tomas
    • MK – Talks to Helsingborg about permits.
  • Props/Wardrobe
AF: We need to borrow an ambulance, paramedic clothes and a car. We need to buy clothes for girl and angel. We also need a stretcher.
    • AF – Finds clothes for the Angel to wear.
    • AF – Finds clothes for the Girl to wear.

Topic: Story / Om Piloten...

Eric Maddison
Inspiration – The Rasmus
Inspiration – Eskobar
Inspiration – Tre
Inspiration – Mitsubishi
