The message behind Metropolis is that Mankind as a whole is stupid, greedy and easily lured and manipulated.
The idea is that Metropolis is an episode-based series with no real beginning or end. Although there probably should be some kind of vague main story line in the background.
What happends next?
Next we just produce as many ideas as simply possible around this theme!!!
Ideas for characters, settings, names, places, stories, graphical techniques, dialogues, plots, intrigues, jokes, satire, events, animation techniques etc etc. Bring it all! And bring pictures, sounds and movies too!
And what happends after that?
Hopefully, after a while, we’ll start to feel that Metropolis might actually work! We will have a “Proof of Concept”. Then we switch gears and start making real episodes.
